If you are so sure then burn the ship. If you know the outcome of the situation whether it is about a person, even a loved one. Cut them out if it is not in your favor. There is no point in wasting time on those who will never do you right, there is no point in waiting. A quote a I read a long time ago was
"You dont need to drink the whole ocean to know that the water is salty in it"
I love how we forgive people, expect them to change, expect them to do us right but the only person who can do you right is you and if they are not respecting you, or not doing you right then burn the goddamn ship. Burn it before they burn you. Do whatever you have to. Run away from situations that benefit you nothing and there is no reason to stay in that area. But I also know of something else, something far more true than others
You may know all the theories, all the logic but when it is your time you won't logic your way out of grief.
I know it is easier said than done, you sometimes can't burn the goddamn ship but you have to, not because I am telling you to but because it will hurt you only. We as humans are the only living beings who poison themselves on purpose. I will leave you with a quote
